Job Summary
This position reports to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services or their designee with direct collaboration with the director of Education. The Diabetes Program Coordinator is someone with a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence teaching and instructing patients in the care of diabetes. The Diabetes Program Coordinator is responsible for the organization, administration, continued development, evaluation and effectiveness of educational programs presented to diabetic patients and their families. . This position also is responsible for maintaining and collect certification data on the classes taught to maintain ADA accreditation.
