Job Summary 

The Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing, implementing, configuring, and supporting Human Capital Management (HCM) modules within the organization's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including HR, HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders, to translate business needs into functional solutions that optimize HR processes and enhance the employee experience. The Senior HRIS Analyst serves as a subject matter expert on system capabilities, configuration, and data governance, supporting system efficiency, compliance, and strategic reporting. 

Essential Functions

  • Leads HRIS projects, including requirements gathering, system design, testing, implementation, and post-launch support.
  • Partners with HR, Payroll, HRIS, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, identify process improvements, and implement system enhancements.
  • Manages system configuration changes, including workflows, automations, and security, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Executes system upgrades and patches, performing testing, impact analysis, and deployment in coordination with IT.
  • Ensures data integrity and compliance through data audits, monitoring, and corrective action plans.
  • Develops and delivers workforce analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven HR strategy.
  • Provides advanced support for complex technical inquiries and escalated user issues from HR teams and business leaders.
  • Manages and executes mass data loads, maintaining accuracy and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Supports user training, process documentation, and system adoption initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 3-6 years of experience in HRIS administration, system implementation, or HCM analytics required
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle technology platforms required
  • Experience specifically with Oracle HCM and Oracle Fusion Fast Formula required
  • Experience leading HR technology projects including system upgrades, process improvements, or automation initiatives preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Redwood UI/UX development, Page Composer, Sandboxes, or Groovy script customization preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong expertise in HRIS functionality, data integrity, and system security.
  • Advanced skills in system configuration, workflow automation, and HR data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of HCM systems, payroll integrations, and workforce management processes.
  • Ability to analyze workforce trends and develop strategic recommendations for HR leadership.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, reporting tools, and HRIS dashboard development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, working with HR, IT, and business teams.
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Modules, proficiency in configuring and customizing HCM modules, including workflow, data structures and reporting.
  • Detail oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certification in Oracle platforms preferred
