Job Summary
The Rad Tech / CT Technologist I is responsible for operating Radiology and CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established protocols. This role involves preparing and positioning patients, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential for success in this position.
Schedule: PRN / As Needed, Evenings M-F 2:30P-11P

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred or
- Other completion of a Computed Tomography program preferred
- One (1) - two (2) years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required
- Two (2) - four (4) years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state required
- (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer preferred
- CT - Computed Tomography certification or eligibility to obtain within six (6) months of hire required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Skills in preparing and positioning patients accurately for CT scans, including using safety lifts and/or additional personnel for patient transfers.
- Competence in maintaining CT equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
- Knowledge of aseptic, surgical, and radiologic techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and deliver accurate results under minimal supervision.
