This is a full time position working Night shift in the Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Medical Center.
What you'll do:
The Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Leader participates in increased levels of care in a dynamic Acute Care / Progressive Care Unit setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients.
This increased surveillance 28 bed unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more.
Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.
