Job Description

The Medical Scribe assists physicians in the delivery of quality medical care. The Medical Scribe will be responsible for all clerical and information technology functions for the physician in the clinic. Most accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physicians. Duties also include but are not limited to preparing correspondence, making phone calls, ensure that all clinical data is accurately in the medical record. High School Diploma required. Certified medical assistant preferred. Six to twelve months experience preferred.

Frequently exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant standing, hearing, speaking, vision, balancing and grasping, fingering, feeling and repetitive hand movement. Requires frequent lifting/carrying of 25lbs. to 50 lbs. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions
