Job Description

The Director of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance (CQO) is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. The Director of QMRC will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission standards.

The Director of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance (CQO) is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.  The Director of QMRC will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission standards. 

Education:  Associate’s degree required 

Experience:  Three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, Joint Commission, OSHA, Medicare COP, and state requirements.  Two years’ experience in Quality Management required. Must have coordinated Joint Commission preparation and participated in State and CMS surveys within past three years.  The Director of Quality Management and Regulatory Compliance is responsible for the oversight of all quality, Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.  Great communication, management and supervisory skills are essential to this position.  The ability to retrieve, communicate or otherwise express information in a written, auditory and visual fashion is essential.  Written, telephone, and manual dexterity skills are required as well as good presentation skills.

Licenses/Certifications:   Current State of FL RN license.
