Job Description

Assists physician and senior department personnel in conducting invasive tests and procedures by preparing equipment and patient for exam, monitoring patient's vital signs and electrocardiograph data and attending to patient's needs under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures.  Oversees and directs work of lower classified personnel and assists in training and orientation of new department personnel.  High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Radiology Technology preferred.  Registered as a Technologist Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with ARRT or CCI required.  Basic Life Support (BLS) required, ACLS preferred.

Frequently exposed to blood and/or body fluids or potentially infective materials. Requires constant hearing, speaking, vision and repetitive hand movement. Requires attention to detail despite frequent interruptions.
