Job Description

The Driver will be expected to drive the Northwest Health Mobile Clinic to various community outreach sites including, but not limited to; health fairs, clinics, events and walks. This position requires a valid Indiana driver's license and a safe driving record.

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 

  • High School Diploma preferred, GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in customer service role with at least 1-2 years’ experience driving an RV or other large vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record with no accidents, moving violations or warnings for driving in an unsafe manner.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of customer service fundamentals.
  • Has a successful record of adding value to organizations through the proactive analysis and resolution of potential barriers that may negatively affect the organization.
  • Demonstrates a record of significantly improving patient experience.
  • Possesses superior communication skills, demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment, and be able to effectively direct front and back-end work processes and personnel toward a common goal.

General Responsibilities: 

  1. Assists in maintaining the Mobile Clinic by providing cleaning, fueling, light and daily maintenance functions, and reporting minor emergency repairs to Engineering Services.
  2. Develops and maintains driving log, checklist of supplies needed and replenishes supplies after each event.
  3. Park and level Mobile Clinic, power up the clinic and adjust cabin temperature, prepare operatory for clinical staff and secure units at end of day.
  4. Participates in mandatory staff meetings and educational offerings.
  5. Any other tasks relating to the Mobile Clinic as assigned.
