Job Description

CHSPSC, LLC seeks an Application Systems Specialist for its Franklin, TN, headquarters’ Architecture and Strategy team. 


Experienced in software development, support, maintenance, planning, performance management, project management, mentoring, coaching, production software support and maintenance, internal and external customer relationship management. 


  • Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents highly complex computer programs based on user requests
  • Builds highly complex user interface applications and back-end databases using expert-level skills 
  • Analyzes and documents user information needs or business problems and determines most effective/efficient programming solution. Assists/mentors less experienced programmers with this process
  • Analyzes existing software and hardware systems and procedures; recommends modifications or creations of computer programs and user procedures to best meet user’s needs; implements any needed changes.
  • Prepares user and technical documentation for the implementation, support, and running or new and/or modified systems.
  • Designs and develops application integration between systems.
  • Provides assistance and expertise in implementing, programming, and troubleshooting systems; addressing complaints and resolving complex problems including user support. 
  • Assists with coordination of projects; leads and coordinates work of others to develop, test, install and modify programs. 


  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in Information Technology 
  • Minimum 3 years of development experience on ServiceNow
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks & quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Mature analytic problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment. 
  • Possess an understanding application programming, database & system design 
  • Languages/Frameworks: Java, PHP, Javascript, AngularJS, Swift, ColdFusion, CakePHP, Spring/Hibernate, Rails 
  • Environment/Stack: Linux, Windows, Apache (HTTP, Tomcat), JavaEE, LAMP
  • Design/Processes: Object Oriented Analysis/Design, Interface Driven Architecture, Agile/Scrum
  • Solid Troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate with diverse users and clients.
  • Excellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code in applicable programming languages.
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
