The Director of Pharmacy provides overall management and strategic leadership of Pharmacy Services throughout the facility and affiliated service lines. Representing Pharmacy Services, the Director is responsible for facility-wide oversight of the medication use process and patient safety, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards associated with Pharmacy Services and the medication use process, budgetary duties and fiscal performance of Pharmacy Services, leadership of pharmacy team members, resource development and implementation of pharmacy process changes and establishment, measurement, reporting and audit of Pharmacy Performance Metrics.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy D is required. Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related discipline is preferred. Five (5) years of health system Pharmacy experience is required. Two (2) years of Pharmacy management experience is strongly preferred. Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state of Mississippi or eligibility for licensure via examination or reciprocity is required. ASHP accredited residency or fellowship is preferred.
