Works closely with the Medical Staff to analyze issues, processes and data; acts a liaison between the Medical Staff and the Information Systems department - providing general consulting, reporting needs and problem solving services. Identifies needs for changes in environment to promote system use. Provides operational support to end users in their use of information systems. Provides physician and clinician training and support in the use of Clinical Systems on an ad hoc basis. Works on and assists with all assigned projects including the analysis, design, and implementation of projects in support of the information systems needs of hospital departments. Able to communicate effectively both orally (in person and via telephone) as well as in writing.

POSITION PURPOSE
Works closely with the Medical Staff to analyze issues, processes and data; acts a liaison between the Medical Staff and the Information Systems department - providing general consulting, reporting needs and problem solving services. Provides physician and clinician training and support in the use of Clinical Systems on an ad hoc basis. Able to communicate effectively both orally (in person and via telephone) as well as in writing.
Requirements:
Three or more years of clinical system implementation experience in an acute care, multi-facility environment required. Experience with multiple systems/multiple inpatient environments (HIS/Clinicals, ED, OR, CPOE, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Pulse/MAP, Pro-Med/MedHost, and quality measure reporting desirable
• Knowledgeable in process assessment and redesign; ability to document in Visio or similar tool.
• Experience in all aspects of training: development of training materials (PowerPoint, demo scripts), agendas, schedules, and providing training to multiple clinical disciplines
• Knowledge of the ARRA/Meaningful Use certification process, Core Measures, Menu of Measures, and Clinical Quality Measures desirable
