CRNA - Nurse Anesthesia - Full Time - Temporary

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for providing quality anesthesia care and related services to patients of all age groups from neonate through geriatric, based on the advanced practice nursing process. The CRNA functions under the medical direction of the anesthesiologist.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is responsible for providing quality anesthesia care and related services to patients of all age groups from neonate through geriatric, based on the advanced practice nursing process.  The CRNA functions under the medical direction of the anesthesiologist.  

Education: 

• Must have the required education to be licensed for advanced practice nursing as a CRNA by the Alabama Board of Nursing.                                                                                                                

Experience:

• Experience as a CRNA is preferred but not required.

Licenses/Certifications: 

• Must maintain current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama with advanced practice license.
• Must also be board certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
• Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
