RN Supervisor-MedSurg-FT-Night Shift

Under the direction of the Director of Med Surg, the Med Surg RN Supervisor provides technical supervision and operational leadership to the department/shift. Uses the established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care. The Supervisor also assumes nursing responsibilities and patient care during census fluctuations and/or staffing shortages. Champions and observes time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency standards while observing a quality patient care experience.

Graduate of a nursing program. Bachelor's degree in clinical or management discipline is preferred. Two (2) years of MedSurg Department nursing experience is required. Supervisory and/or management experience is strongly preferredCurrent Mississippi RN licensure is required. BLS required.
