Wound Care Tech

Located minutes from downtown Austin, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is a level IV Designated Trauma Center with more than 600 healthcare professionals working together to provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care for Cedar Park and the greater Austin region. The Wound Care Clinic is searching for a Wound Care Tech to aid staff and physicians in the care of patients with stomas, draining wounds, fistulae, incontinence, or potential or actual tissue trauma. Plans, assesses, and promotes enterostomal patient education needs and care. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. At least 3 years of previous experience. This is a Part Time Day shift position.

Plans, assesses, and promotes enterostomal patient education needs and care in accordance with hospital policies and by developing and updating programs. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. At least 3 years of previous experience.
