Community Health Systems is one of the nation’s leading operators of general acute care hospitals. Based on the unique needs of each community served, these hospitals offer a wide range of diagnostic, medical and surgical services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
CHS is seeking an experienced CMDB and ITAM Specialist to lead the effort for Lifecycle Management as well as Asset Management, and Configuration Database Management. There is a requirement to be both knowledgeable of the technical elements of the ServiceNow environment, as well as a strong knowledge of policy, process, and procedure.
Must have experience working within the ServiceNow platform.
Must be knowledgeable in Discovery Schedules and creating Discovery Schedules within the ServiceNow Platform
Understanding of Horizontal Discovery as well as Service Mapping
Must understand MID Server architecture and be able to create/install new MID Servers and point them to the correct IP Ranges
Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Able to communicate needs for development to the DevOPs team
Responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the IT Configuration Mgt. framework including governance and control, standards, processes, procedures, policies, and communications
Responsible for identifying which Configuration Item (CI) types, CI attributes, and CI relationships are tracked in the CMDB
Defines and documents the processes and procedures for creating and maintaining CIs and CI data
Must have graduated high school.
College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
4 years’ ServiceNow experience with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM)
2 years’ experience with the ServiceNow CMDB and how it supports other ITSM processes (e.g.: Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Mgt.)

Computer Skills Required:
CSDM 3.0 experience
