Ortho/Neuro/Med Surg. -

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides and ensures high quality care for assigned patients under the supervisor of the RN. The PCT performs simple patient care functions i.e., monitor vital signs, assists with ADL (feeding, ambulation and repositioning), and performs IV insertions, phlebotomy and EKGs.

• Current CPR certified
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Minimum of one-two years current experience in patient care required
• Ability to work in a fast paced Environment
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Strong Communication Skills

Ability to prioritize tasks to minimize delays in care
