Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Full Time, Nights, in the Surgical Services unit at Northwest Health - Porter Hospital

  • Full time: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts
  • Nights: 7p-7a
  • Welcome bonus eligible up to $12,500
  • Eligible for shift differential 
  • Eligible for health benefits, which can include your spouse and/or children 

About this unit: 

  • 27 bed unit
  • This is a busy unit with a lot of patient turnover ranging in acuity and ailments, some on chronic ventilators
  • Provides cardiac monitoring 
  • This is an excellent foundational unit for LPNs interested in transitioning to a bedside RN

Education: 

  • LPN license required

Licensure & Certification: 

  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Indiana.
  • BLS certification must be maintained while in this position
  • ACLS certification within 12 months of hire, must be maintained while in this position
