LPN / Senior Behavioral Health / FT / Nights

Performs nursing care and related technical work in the care, treatment and rehabilitation of patients and is accountable to the patient care administered

Attends each treatment team and/or provides feedback on the patient’s progress towards goals under the supervision of the RN on duty. 

Documents each shift on the treatment under the supervision of the RN.   

Creates a supportive environment for the patient’s that supports recovery under the supervision of the RN.   

Administers medications appropriately and safely and provides medication education at time of dispensing under the supervisor of the RN.

Evaluates and documents care administered and patient    response to care under the supervisor of the RN.

Maintains a safe environment of care.

Completes discharge summary and saves summary to record under supervision of RN.

Practices compassionate care model.   

Ensures all documentation meets meaningful use and core  measures requirements.
