Job Description

Lead Account Executive Under the broad direction of the Executive Director, designs and oversees the business development strategy that supports the development and implementation of the overall corporate health product line.

Job Summary:  Under the broad direction of the Executive Director, designs and oversees the business development strategy that supports the development and implementation of the overall corporate health product line. 
 
Provides working leadership and guidance to the business development account executives in the performance of their responsibilities.  Coordinates and leads the business development account executives to ensure their activities are in alignment with the overall organization’s business development strategy and goals.

Maintains work schedules, coordinates and leads the account executives to ensure execution of the sales plan, and makes recommendations to the Executive Director related to account executive performance.

Performs all duties of the account executive which includes group health, occupational health and wellness/health promotion programs.  The Account Executive will seek new customers and service existing customers to assure continued market penetration.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:  Three years of experience related to contracting and healthcare related sales or services. Demonstrated ability to lead and guide team members.

Education:  Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.  BS degree may be waived in lieu of 5 to 7 years of related experience.  

Registration/Certification/Licensure: Indiana Life and Health Producer License is preferred
