Full Time
A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is able to perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff. The sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Preferred: Two (2) Years of experience as a Polysomnographic Tech
Licenses/Certificates:
Required: Current New Mexico License for a Polysomnographic Technologist.
Required: Certification or registry from the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Must hold on of the following: Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
equired: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) - Due by close of business on the last day of the month after one (1) full month of work.
