Job Description

Responsible for assigned patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living, the provision of basic nursing care, documentation of completed activities, and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. To communicate effectively and provide an efficient unit; To assist in providing a safe patient care; To perform under the supervision of the RN, LPN, Clinical Coordinator, and/or House Supervisor, ultimately the Director of Nursing.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate and have completed an approved nursing assistant course.
  • Experience: Clinical experience in a certified nursing assistant program. Acute care experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certificates: Current Florida CNA license, Current BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
