Patient Care Assistant I - PACU - FT - 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

The Patient Care Assistant in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit is an unlicensed, specially trained member of the PACU team who works under the direct supervision of the PACU Supervisor, PACU Charge Nurse and Director of Anesthesia Services. This position provides care for the patient from neonates to geriatrics and assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating duties necessary to ensure optimal patient care under the direction and supervision of the PACU professional nurse.

Education:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

 Licenses/Certifications:

• BLS
