Assistant Director - Emergency Services (FT, Days)(**Sign On Bonus**)

The Assistant Director has 24 hour accountability for the daily operations in the nursing unit, serving as a role model and leader. The Assistant Director oversees and coordinates the emergency care provided by the department and assists the Emergency Department Director with staff development, oversees competencies, assists with quality and risk programs and promotes Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville goals, philosophies, policies and procedures.

Education / License / Certification:

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed in the State of Tennessee or Compact State as a Registered Nurse and in good standing.

Experience / Skills:

• Three years clinical nursing experience required
• Prior management in the Emergency Department setting, preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced ever-changing environment
• Strong computer skills
• Above average communication skills, both written and verbal
