Full Time
Under the supervision of licensed staff, is responsible for providing resident/patient related (non-hands on) care and ancillary services in accordance with quality standards. Performs host/hostess duties in accordance with accepted standards of non-hands on resident/patient care. May also assist with patient records as a unit clerk. High School Diploma or GED required.
Provides professional, courteous customer service by screening all individuals entering the facility at designated entrances. Ability to respond to situations and reactions associated with a public facing position. High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in a professional customer service oriented environment preferred.
Additional information: Equipment and Skills Training: Forehead thermometer, Personal Protective Equipment (mask), excellent customer service skills, problem-solving skills to determine appropriate course of action in situations, Ability to handle difficult situations/interactions in a professional manner, with strong communication skills.
Promptly acknowledges all individuals entering the facility |
Properly performs temperature screening on all individuals entering the facility |
Monitors and maintains social distancing compliance at all times. |
Utilizes excellent customer service skills to assure patients/visitors/staff/physicians our priority is to keep everyone safe |
Provides accurate information and assists with customer needs or identifies those resources needed to assist customers |
Reports concerns requiring attention to the nursing supervisor or director HR, or Employee Health |
Consistently wears appropriate PPE required to perform the job safely |
Knowledgeable and informed about the layout of the hospital – familiar with department names and locations |
Maintains work area and personal appearance in a way that reflects professionalism and demonstrates to our patients, visitors and coworkers the importance we place on cleanliness, orderliness and safety |
Maintains appropriate supply of items needed for screenings. Ensures equipment is functioning properly. |
Performs other related duties assigned by Manager or Director |
