Job Description

Patient Care Associate - Higher pay for experienced PCA's or CNA's $3,000 signing bonus Full-Time Nights 36 hours per week.

Patient Care Associate 

PCA is a Patient Care Assistant/Tech or Aid

  • Higher pay for experienced PCA's or CNA's
  • Up to $3,000 signing bonus based on FTE status

Under the supervision of designated unit management and the clinical leadership of a clinical nurse, routinely supports the unit through the provision of basic patient care, clerical and reception services.

Roles and responsibilities include: 
 
-Take vitals (Temp, blood pressure, blood sugar, monitor heart rate/pulse/and O2 stats) perform medical documentation on the values of vitals taken and chart on anything you do to the patient.
 
Also performing non-clinical tasks such as:
 
-Toileting, ambulating patients to the restroom, chair, or bed as needed.
 
-Changing linens on patient beds
 
-Assisting with meals if needed
 
-Assisting with dressing, bathing, and oral care as needed.
 
-Charting tasks that you have completed/medical documentation.
