Our respiratory therapists are responsible for ensuring that cardiovascular/ respiratory care is rendered to patients in accordance with the NBRC and hospital standards.  They provide consultation, instruction and technical direction to other staff members as needed. 

Education and license requirements:

• Graduate of AMA approved school of respiratory care
• Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Experience and skill set requirement:

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in all phases of respiratory care
• Effective and clear verbal/written communication
• Ability to teach/instruct in a team oriented environment 
• Manual and finger dexterity/ mechanically inclined
