Up to $5,000.00 Sign On Bonus for experienced/qualified applicants This Mammography - Radiology Technologist is a Part Time day shift position working 32 hours a week and includes FT benefits. You will be working with team members in our dynamic Women's Imaging Center.

This Mammography - Radiology Technologist is a Part Time day shift position working 32 hours a week and includes FT benefits. You will be working with team members in our dynamic Women's Imaging Center.

Summary: Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention. Performs radiographic examinations.  Effectively identifies predictable problems and plans and provides patient care, based on the age of the patient served.  Ensures that the patient is properly prepared for the diagnostic procedure by verifying that an informed patient consent has been properly executed and if necessary, arranges for on to be provided. Prepares patient and adjusts equipment for taking x-rays. Positions and instructs patient regarding procedures and administers contrast media when ordered. Observes patient for any unusual reactions or events. Positions the patients and operates equipment to produce the most reliable and informational data. Reviews and evaluates completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered; ensures quality images.
