Sterile Process Tech - PRN

A Sterile Processing Technician is able to work under minimal supervision and assist others, to clean, assemble and properly process the sterile supplies, instruments and equipment according to government regulations and healthcare standards for safe use throughout the Hospital. The Tech. has acquired an awareness of infection control, knowledge of instruments and cost containment and has effective communication skills. Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
