Surgical Tech FT OR with call

To function responsibly as a scrubbed member of the surgical team in anticipating the needs of the surgeon and working with the entire surgical team in maintaining standards of care in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of East Georgia Regional Medical Center and the Department of Surgery.

To function responsibly as a scrubbed member of the surgical team in anticipating the needs of the surgeon and working with the entire surgical team in maintaining standards of care in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of East Georgia Regional Medical Center and the Department of Surgery.

Education: Graduate of an accredited operating room technician program.

Experience: Must have a thorough working knowledge of aseptic technique. Previous operating experience strongly preferred. Orientation/training will be provided by the staff education department and the surgical services department.

Licenses/Certificates:  Certified surgical tech desired.  BLS required.
