Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Urology

Work with urologist in outpatient and inpatient setting; 1st Assist in OR, perform/assist office procedures; Surgical follow up visits; Pre-procedure clearance; Medical management. Collaborative workflow with urologist to ensure efficiencies and autonomy. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Master's degree and must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program and Indiana licensed. Urology experience preferred.

Working in collaboration with urologist, the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will practice within the scope of license and standard of practice.  Inpatient and outpatient care responsibilities. 

• 1st assist in OR
• In-office procedures include vasectomies, biopsies, catheter insertions, bladder scans, injections
• Inpatient rounding including management and facilitating discharge
• Outpatient clinic:  Surgical follow ups, pre-procedure clearance, medical management
• Collaborative workflow with urologist to ensure efficiencies and autonomy
