The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing general nursing care in the specialty and PCP clinic and assisting with patients in a clinical setting; responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation; responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices; collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Education / License / Certification:
- Graduate of an approved school of Licensed Practical Nursing required
- Currently licensed in the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
Experience / Skills:
Two years’ experience in a physician office practice preferred
Knowledge of general specialty and PCP procedures and follow up preferred
Must be able to read, comprehend and communicate on a professional level
Attention to detail and concentration
Ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment
