Resp Therapist Cert

36 hours/week

Performs routine respiratory care, life support services, and/or therapeutic and diagnostic procedures that treat, diagnose and quantify cardiac and/or pulmonary function to hospital patients using analysis and judgment to administer therapy in a safe and effective manner that is consistent with Lutheran Downtown Hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

License/Certification:

• Valid and current Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner license through the Health Professionals Bureau (HPB).

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Program. Certified (CRTT) by the National Bureau Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred

• None required
