Job Description

Prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, Trans-esophageal imaging, stress testing, and assists Cardiologist.

Prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms, M-mode, 2-dimensional, Doppler, color flow mapping, Trans-esophageal imaging, stress testing, and assists Cardiologist.
Position Qualifications     
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and graduate of an approved  echocardiography program
Experience: Experience as an Echocardiograph Technologist under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist preferred (6 months to 1 year preferred). Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements. 
Skills: Must have the ability to collaborate with physicians and be able to work independently.  Requires good communication skills.  
Licenses/Certifications:• Echocardiography Technologist Certification required within 6 months of hire date.
• CPR certification required
