This is a full time Echo Tech position working in our Cardiovascular Lab unit at Northwest Medical Center.

Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physician or manager. Associate's degree and graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound Technology certification through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARMS). Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Required:
BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
