Director Respiratory Therapy for both Brooksville & Spring Hill FT Exempt

Directs the programs and staff of the respiratory therapy department. Develops and implements respiratory care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Monitors patient progress and treatment plans. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. May require an advanced degree and professional certification with at least 7 years of direct experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Education:  Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program with a diploma or AAS degree

Experience: Five years’ clinical experience in area of specialty or related clinical field with at least two years’ supervisory or management experience. 

Licenses/Certifications:   Licensed by the state of Florida as a Respiratory Professional (CRT or RRT). Current BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications
