Patient Care Tech or Student Apprentice CVIC - Cardiovascular ICU

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of unit leadership and the clinical leadership of a clinical nurse, routinely supports the unit through the provision of basic patient care, clerical and reception services.

MINIMAL ACCEPTABLE JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

No specific experience is required. Lutheran Health Network facilities will provide formalized training classes; successful completion is required in order to continue employment. Additional orientation specific to unit responsibilities may also be provided.

Education:

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Registration/Certification/Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days from start date in position. Successful completion of unit required education classes (ie: Intro to EKG, etc.) Must complete within the first 30 days of hire date, as applicable.
