Image Service Representative II
Full Time, 0.9 FTE (72 hrs) per pay period
Day Shift
Job Summary:
- Under the supervision of the Radiology PACS Manager, performs tasks of the electronic radiology image system to support medical and hospital staff in the radiology interpretation, review, reporting and quality assurance processes.
- Provides leadership and guidance in area of expertise specific to PACS.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:
Licensure:
Experience:
- Completion of ISR Level I training.
- Demonstrates expertise in work knowledge, skills and performance with successful completion of Level II competency.
Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
- Training in PACS applications.
Registration/Certification:
Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrates strong working knowledge of office operations, filing, record keeping, receptionist duties and radiology and medical specific office procedures.
- Demonstrates progressive in-depth knowledge of computer operations related to the electronic image system to include image archiving verification and quality assurance.
- Demonstrates well developed interpersonal and communication skills on a leadership level, both verbal and written, in order to establish and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers as needed.
- Requires in-depth analytical and organizational skills to logically define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide documentation.
- Requires leadership skills in order to serve as mentor when required; monitoring work flow and acting as a resource to staff in solving problems specific to Image and report retrieval.
- Demonstrates continuous participation in quality improvement and problem solving issues related to assigned area.
- Requires working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
