Job Description
Abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records, charts and documents and assigns appropriate ICD-10 and/or CPT codes to patient records according to established procedures. High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in CPT and ICD-10 coding.
Abstracts clinical information from a variety of medical records, charts and documents and assigns appropriate ICD-10 and/or CPT codes to patient records according to established procedures. High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in coding using ICD and CPT coding systems. Coder will be expected to communicate with provider(s), nurses and managers.
