*Sign on Bonus Available The MRI Tech will be responsible for the performance of duties specific to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and as a Radiologic Technologist RT(R) performing imaging on a regular basis as well as other various duties assigned. Performs routine operation and performance of MRI and X-ray relative to calibration, quality control, patient examination, and instructions to patients regarding the exams to the satisfaction of Director of Imaging and/or Radiologist(s). Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient, provide the utmost quality care and customer service, maintain work area in a constant state of readiness as a MRI, CT and Radiologic Technologist while following all Policies and Procedures for the Hospital and the Imaging department.

Education:

• High School Graduate
• Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

Licenses/Certificates:

• Must be registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in the following: Radiologic Technology (RT-R) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
• Current Florida licensure for Radiologic Technology
• Current BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
