Mammography Tech - Breast Health Center (PRN, Varied)

Under the supervision of the Radiologist, is required to perform routine diagnostic procedures. Must exhibit expertise in patient care based on patient’s needs appropriate for the adult and geriatric patient(s). Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health. Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.

Experience / Skills

• Two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
• New Graduates must be ARRT registered within 90 days of hire
