Nurse Practitioner Hosp

The Nurse Practitioner employed by the Crestwood Physician Services is expected to provide patient care to our patient population. This person in this role should aggressively pursue opportunities to increase practice revenue and expense control while providing excellent patient care. CRNP is expected to provide high quality patient services to our patient population, aggresssively pursuing opportunities to improve patient care and provide excellent patient outcomes. The CRNP will be actively involved in performance improvement activities and serve as members of committees.

Examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness and injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Master's degree in area of specialty, certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP), and state authority for advanced practice. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
