RN-Cardiac Cath Lab-Holding

Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient and family centered care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for all patient populations. Roles during this phase of care focus on assessing the patient and developing a plan of care designed to meet the physical, psychological, educational, and sociocultural needs of the patient and family. This includes validation of existing information and completion of preparation of the patient.

• FT | Day Shift w/ Call Coverage
• Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient and family centered care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for all patient populations.
• Responsible for the prep and recovery of Cath Lab/EP patients
• Obtains appropriate consents for procedure(s) to be performed
• Performs pre- and post-op education to patient and family
• Removes arterial and venous sheaths following procedures
• Monitors physiologic parameters and demonstrates knowledge of potential complications
• 6mos - 1 year experience required
