Summary:

 

The Provider Relations Data Analyst role provides business analysis services and project support to Provider Relations through reporting, data analysis and dashboard development/management. The focus of this position is to work closely with Provider Relations to gain in-depth understanding of processes, operational and reporting needs while helping to identify opportunities and to improve alignment. The individual in this role uses strong problem solving, analytical and technical knowledge to develop data-driven alignment dashboards, reports, and analytics that drive strategy and execution. Serves as the dedicated internal and external data SME to track, report, and support future Provider Relations activities and initiatives using organizational metrics. This Analyst will help in developing and maintaining new and existing reporting and models, along with recommending and implementing data-driven solutions.

 

Responsibilities of this role will include but is not limited to:

 

  • Develop customized analytical reports/dashboards
  • Management and analysis of internal and external data sets
  • Design queries, reports, and dashboards to assist leaders and team members in understanding historic and current metrics as well as predictive analysis
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of performance by tracking and trending data sets
  • Provide ongoing reporting to the entire Provider Relations team
  • Analyze business process flows and impact on technology flows
  • Collaborate with Provider Relations leadership and other partners to ensure data integrity and develop appropriate auditing tools, reports and analysis methodologies
  • Maintain, enhance, and streamline standardized reporting to ensure team members have timely, relevant, and accessible information and our processes are efficient and legally compliant
  • Synthesize information from various data sets, develops actionable reports, to enable the Provider Relations team to make key strategic decisions in a timely manner
  • Attend meetings and daily communication sessions to keep abreast of project objectives, process workflows and progress of business concepts

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required.
  • Experience managing data information systems, creating automated workflows, and developing communications required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with databases, spreadsheets and reporting data
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Google Platforms experience – required
    • Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas and functions.
    • Proficiency in Google Forms
    • Familiarity of Google Data Studio, data structures and data connectors
  • Promotes information sharing
  • Ability to work within tight time-frames and meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrates analytical skills
