Clear Florida Respiratory License in good standing.
Required Education: Requires an associate's degree and a credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Certification Requirements: Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification prior to hire.
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
Collects and analyzes blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function.
Manages BIPAP and Ventilator machines.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
