Job Description

Supports and implements the mission, vision, and core values of therapeutic psychiatric care provided within the behavioral health program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, planning, establishing goals, and evaluating and maintaining a high-quality therapeutic treatment program that is compliant with licensing regulations. Provides direct and indirect services by participating in the diagnostic assessment and treatment of clients and families.

As Manager--Supports and implements the mission, vision, and core values of therapeutic psychiatric care provided within the behavioral health program.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, planning, establishing goals, and evaluating and maintaining a high-quality therapeutic treatment program that is compliant with licensing regulations.   Position provides direct supervision, oversight, evaluation and scheduling of Behavioral Health Social Services personnel. Evaluates programming delivered by all disciplines and provides direct patient care as needed to meet facility programming needs.   Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of Social Services. 

As Clinical Therapist--Provides direct and indirect services by participating in the diagnostic assessment and treatment of clients and families.  These services are provided throughout all phases of psychiatric treatment in accordance with program procedure and physician request.  Must be flexible and enjoy working with people and able to function effectively both as a member of the treatment team and independently in the outpatient setting.  Must have well developed skills in interviewing, planning care and in writing case histories and treatment summaries.  Must have knowledge and expertise in individual, family and group therapy techniques.  The Social Worker/Therapist may also have experience in Chemical Dependency treatment.
