Pharmacy Technician I PRN/Non-Exempt 0.2 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shift - with rotation if needed

Job Summary:

• Under the leadership of the Operations Manager, Pharmacy Specialist, or Network Director and the technical guidance of a pharmacist, assists the pharmacist in filling medication orders, preparing IV admixtures and maintaining appropriate levels of medications in pharmacy, nursing units, service carts and trays to meet patient care needs.             

 Education/Registration/Certification/Licensure:    

• High school graduate or GED
• Pharmacy Technician in Training permit 
• Pharmacy Technician State Licensure required within 12 months from issuance of training permit consistent with state guidelines.

OR  

• High school graduate or GED
• Pharmacy Intern License   

Experience: 

• No specific experience is required.

Education: 

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
