Outpatient Echo Sonographer -Cardiovascular Lab (FT, Days)

Primary role of Cardiac Sonographer is diagnostic studies of patients having echocardiography color flow, Doppler, M-Mode, and 2D echos. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient served on his/her assigned unit as indicated below. The Cardiovascular Sonographer must demonstrate competency in the procedure they are performing prior to performance without supervision.

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
•  BLS Certification required
•  RDCS through ARMDS or RDCS through CCI Registry with experience; registry to be obtained within
  one year of hire or placement
• 2-3 years experience in full time dedicated Echocardiography Lab preferred;
•  Associate or Bachelors Degree in radiology program preferred
