Social Worker ED Behavioral, Emergency Services, (PRN, Varied)

The position is responsible for facilitating the patient’s hospitalization from pre admission through discharge from the Emergency Department to the community or to an alternative level of care. The case manager interfaces with physicians, psychiatrist, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare team members to expedite medically appropriate cost-effective care.

Education / Licensure / Certification:

• BSW or MSW in Social Work from a graduate school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
• Tennessee Licensed social Worker required. Certification in Case Management preferred.

Experience / Skills:

• Minimum one year recent Behavioral Health Case Management
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
• Attention to detail and concentration
