Clinical Dietitian

Full Time (32 hours a week) Clinical Dietitian Opportunity at the Rehabilitation Hospital!

An ideal candidate will require the following:

• Degree from an accredited education program in Dietetics

• Registered dietitian or registry eligible; must become registered within one year from hire date in position.

• State certification required within six months from registration or hire date in position.

 Job Summary:

• Under the supervision of the Medical Director, develops and implements nutrition care for patients in coordination with other members of the health care team. Provides clinical leadership to dietary staff.

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications

Experience: 

• No specific experience is necessary.  However, non-registered dietitians may not bill for outpatient medical nutrition therapy.

Education:  

• Bachelor’s degree in foods, nutrition, institution management or related sciences, plus successful completion of an American Dietetic Association approved program qualifying individual for the registration examination.

Registration/Certification: 

• Registered Dietitian or Registry Eligible (must become registered within one year from hire date). 
• Certified by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
