Job Description

  • Assists Cath Lab team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed.
  • Strong surgical conscience. Aware of sterile processing. 
  •  Follows AORN standards.  
  • Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks to include, but not limited, to pulling cases, case set-up, clean up, inventory and supply management. 
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Reports to the Cardiopulmonary Director.
  • Must be a graduate of an Radiology Technology program and possess a current/clear Radiology Technician Certification for the State of Florida, and have 2-4 years of experience.
  • Cath Lab Scrub experience preferred.
  • AHA-BLS required prior to hire.
